Its time to dust off the old Golf clubs and get up to the Gore Golf Club and ''Give Golf a Go''  

The GGC (Gore Golf Club) throughout the month of March is hosting their own ''Give Golf a Go'' program.  This awesome initiative includes so much for absolutely zero cost!!  Thats right its all free.  So if you've never played Golf before or don't play as often as you'd like...what a great way to start.  There's something here for everyone and the GGC welcomes all ages, genders, and abilities to come along.  There won't be a better way to progress your game than with free coaching from Gore's own former NZ number 1 and current professional Vaughan McCall.  He is going to take a different coaching session each Wednesday in March from 5.30-6.30pm. 

The GGC's Give Golf a Go program also includes a team style progressional event to help you start getting into Golf. This will be held on the first 3 Sundays in March, teeing off at 12.30pm.  All you need for this is a team of 4.  So round up your mates and throw a team in because there's plenty of prizes to be won. No worries if you can't find a team or don't have gear. They've got you covered.  They have gear to start you off with and will find a suitable group for you!  Then on the last Saturday of the month there will be an introduction to the members day.  This is where the members take you under their wing and show you what golfs truly about...We call it a haggle and at the GGC we go to Golf for the banter, hardly the Golf....

Also if you register for Give Golf a Go you will be given full membership rights for the month of March.  This will allow you to play any club competition or any day of the week for no green fee cost at all.  At the end of the program, any new or non member of the club will be entitled to our extremely low introduction membership with up to a saving of 66% on normal membership fees.  All you have to do is register with Peter Kemp at 027 604 1007.
